I'm finally getting around to the heater - didn't need it until this past week - and would like to see any pics of a small block installation.

Where did you guys mount the switch and the cable to operate the (water)flow valve. I'm not running the defroster and will dump most of the air on my wifes cold feet.

I used a manual choke cable to control the (water)flow valve

Thanks Okie ! Do you have any pics of the lines and their route to the motor. Also where did you put the switch?

Hopefully you can see the heater lines here on my 351W. The 90 degree elbow coming out of the top of the motor is just galvanized plumbing pipe that I polished up with a dremel.

As for the switch, if you look on my dash, on the middle right of the dash going top to bottom are 1) Bypass pull lever, 2) defroster/heater pull lever and 3) fan switch. I choose this layout after copying from a picture of an original dash although in hindsight I should have placed them slight more to the left for authentisity.

Thanks Okie !
I'm fabricating a small aluminum piece to hold the two heater lines above the foot box. I'll post a picture of it when I finish. It really seems to work and will keep the lines orderly (getting anal here).
