ROTATION DIRECTION

couple of questions.

1) looking down on the top of the distributor, small block, does the rotor rotate counterclockwise?

2) what to do about an amp meter that indicates opposite? shows a postive current when load is applied.

I believe the rotation is counter-clockwise. As for the ammeter... try reversing the leads.

if the reverse sensing of the amp meter is the only thing i need to correct, i'll live with it before removing the dash again.
the rotor does turn counter clockwise, when viewed from overhead, i hope that is correct.
