View Full Version : Fix for leaking Wilwood M/C

<img src=images/icon_speech_yeah.gif border=0 width=29 height=15 alt=Insert Speech Icon: Yeah!> The caps on these Wilwood master cylinders having been driving me nuts 'cause I couldn't get them to stop leaking. I got out my inside/outside calipers, took some measurements, and bought O-rings at the local ACE Hardware. Installed them in the caps, and "VIOLA" :D No more leaks :D:D:D

Heres the info - 1-9/16" x 1-5/16" X 1/8"
Stock #35758B
Danco Company
Concordville PA 19331

You should be able to find this size O-ring at your local hardware store.

Damn, am I glad that's over with!!!

Has anyone else had this problem? Phil is there a problem with yours?

You may not care now that it is fixed. I just thought I would ask.

Two of the three caps on my car have weeped fluid from the git-go. Thanks for the O-ring tip. Phil, have you applied for your specialty car exemption from the CA DMV?

I have an appointment with DMV Friday, January 2, at 9:20 AM. I shot you an e-mail asking about your experienc and any specifics w/re: to the CHP visit.
