I appear to be a little behind Phil, but I did get to hear it run for the first time today and I have to say that 427 cubic inches does have a certain flair about it. And, of course, I did have a couple of neighbors drop by to see what all the fuss was about.

A few minor issues with the wiring and a leaking heater unit :(, but all in all, not a bad day. Here's a couple of pictures.

I hope the rest of you are having as great a New Year as I am...

Beautiful Ben! Congrats! Just curious, why does your air cleaner stand up so high above the turkey pan?

Ben,

Niiiiiiiiice. Those big blocks to have a "ceratin" sound, don't they?

Beautiful car. Too bad I'm out here on the left coast.... not a lot of Unique's out here.

Really looks nice. I like the way you painted the engine bay silver.

Hi Clay, Actually, I can only say that the height of the air cleaner is what it is. It came as you see it from Southern Automotive.

Okiesnake, I'd love to take credit for the silver interior of the engine compartment, but that's how it came from Unique. I can only assume that it's the way those pieces of fiberglass came out of the mold.
