Well, I spoke with folks from the West Coast, to the East Coast, to the South, and everywhere in between, and finally found someone that was interested enough to take the time and had the knowledge to help me - Mark with Toploader Heaven http://www.toploaderheaven.com/photo_gallery.htm I can't say enough about this guy, and would recommend him to anyone for parts and assistance :D

Turns out the Galaxie tranny I have was one of the few that has a reversed speedo gear pitch. Mark supplied me with a part number, and low-and-behold, the local Ford dealer had it in stock.

I can sleep tonight [^]

Phil,

He is a great guy. Mark built custom shift rods and a custom offset base for my car. Knows his $hit.
