Repainting???

What would be the correct process to have a car repainted???
Would the body have to be removed?
I'm not contemplating it at this moment but down the road I'd like to look into it....

Al,
To do a realy top notch job I would remove the body. Couple of reasons for this, keeping overspray off of the chasie, you will be able to detail the chasie, plus with just the body you will be able to raise it up to work on it easier.
