Wound up with some wooly fingers but the jute is in the car. Today we start on the carpet and have a few questions, so jump in here if you can, you too Alan, since you are the expert!

With the carpet that goes behind the seats, what do you do when you get to the door latch? Looking at the CD, it looks like you covor the latch with the carpet, instead of trimming the carpet around it?

Also, there are two small pieces of black vinyl, is this for the door hinges?

Nothing like some 3M in the morning:D

I cover the striker with carpet then trim around the striker catch, you don't have to cover it but I do. You might have to peel the carpet back if the striker has to be adjusted later and yes the vinyl is for the hinges. Have fun and don't shiff too much glue.

Bitten,

I removed the latch assy, glued the carpet down, installed the latch assy. over the carpet and tightened, cut around it with a razor blade, removed the latch assy.,removed the carpet piece, and installed the latch assy.
It looks clean and neat.
