289 FIA for sale

Hello to all, I am looking at a Unique 289 tomarrow morning in the cincinnati area. I will take pics and post them. I am not intersested in this car for myself but someone out there might be. I will be seeing Alan next week to order my car. I will be using 428 which was built 10 years ago but never fired. The engine will be checked out by Bill at Southern Automotive. With a little luck I can pick it up the weekend of Unique's Homecomming.:)

The seller price is $35,000, It has been sitting for 1 year on the car trailer. He took it in trade for a 2000 cobra R. 289 engine plus alot of trick brackets made from stainless or titanium. Paint looks good a few blemishes but nothing a good detail can't fix. This is his 2nd cobra, other one is a 427 SC. He has all paper work, he is the 2nd owner and drove it 10 miles since he took it in trade. Anyone interested? Just reply and I will forward you the contact info.

Put hard returns between the image tags (IMG) so they will stack vertically on the screen instead of hooooooooorizontally. :D

There are some things that are not Unique's about this car. The radiator and all the mounting around it, and the hood hinges look wrong.

Doesn't look like a Unique FIA to me, get the serial number off the frame and advise. Does it have a Unique Data Plate installed anywhere?
