<img src=images/icon_speech_ok.gif border=0 width=17 height=15 alt=Insert Speech Icon: OK> Okay... granted, I've had an adult beverage (or two), but we have seen Unigues in various stages of assembly - bodies, paint, engines, webers [:P], wheels, dash board layouts, etc, etc, etc,. So it is about time we see some pictures of your first look at your dream come true.

Belive it or not I have lost 30 lbs since starting this project - my wife says it has been because I have had a wrench in my hand at night rather than a drum stick ;)

Phil,

Are you going to SoCal for the knotts berry farm kit show this year?
I was thinkin I might go over for a day and brouse around.
Where is your home located? I don't know NoCal very well.
I was thinkin that if I bought a trailer it would be fun to go up to the wine country for a cruise. Are you in that area?

Regards,

Sundown

I'm about 20 miles north east of Sacramento off of I-80 on the way to Tahoe/Reno. We have a family situation going on that will most likely prevent our attendance at the Knott’s Show. We went last year and it was great. Five days later I sent the Weaver's a deposit for my Unique. While there weren't any Unique's there, I got a good look at a number of others that I hadn't seen and made up mind. There were a ton of FFR's, and some Shell Valley and Mid-states, Backdraft, Superformance, etc. Unqiues are, well, Unique out here, but I'm convinced I made the right decision..... no doubt about it [^]

As for the wine country - Napa Valley was fun 20 years ago, but it has become so commercialized you spend most of your time dodging tour buses. The are some great vineyards/wineries just east of where I'm located in the foothills (Amador and El Dorado counties and south in Angels Camp and Murphy’s in Sonora county - all within 1-2 hrs), that produce some excellent wine + very nice country roads. Let me know if you ever get up this way and maybe we can work something out
