Pedal situation!!

I took my first drive with my new pedals this week and found out my feet are much larger than the gap between the pedals. :( I removed my pedal covers and cut the Wilwood pedal assys. off.:( Yes, I took a saw and cut them off. I then took the AC pedal pads and cut off the rear mounting bosses so they were smooth on the back. I then tig welded the new AC pedal faces on the existing Wilwood pedal assys.:D

I like them :D

They look good. At the homecoming you will need to take a look at Sammy Cambell's. He took the same pads left the mounting tabs on them, cut down the pedal arms and used pins to attach them so they would pivot on the arm. That way the pad stays flat to your foot.

Will you leave that car alone! I am just finishing up all my modifications and I dont need this stuff. I have seen Sammy's and they are nice, actually both look good. I have been thinking about doing something just havnt decided what. I think I read where the originals did pivot, don't know if that's a big plus or not. Will try Sammy's out and see.
