Yeah, I wish it were red or black lettering instead of blue (geez, why blue???)

Let's see if this link works... HIGH-RES IMAGE (http://members5.clubphoto.com/_cgi-bin/getImage.pl?imgID=31655044-8084&trans=). I love the fact that the tag reads "Nothing Could Be Finer" just above the lettering.

Very nice, but since I have an original 1966 427 S/C :D:D:DI have to use a Kentucky Antique Plate and they are not personalized;).

Eliminator - If I lived in GA, I could get the (much cheaper) antique plate. SC has an antique plate, but their rules regarding frequent use of the vehicle are MUCH more restrictive than GA's. It would make the car almost useless except in parades. The tag looks pretty cool though: It's a beige color with dark brown letters. Looks very antique-ish.

Stripes!? Who needs stripes!?

Neat plates guys!

Maryland has an interesting system. There is a Historic plate designation for cars older than 20 yrs. If you have them, the state also allows you to legally run a vintage plate from the actual year your car is titled.

So, I found a site www.licenseplates.tv that manufactures any type of plate with any number you want. So, I had replicas of 1965 plates made. MD 1965 plates require 2 letters, followed by 4 numbers in white letters on a blue field. So I came up with the following:
