under car exhaust??

Is there a way to retrofit a 289 Unique with an undercar exhaust?

Is it possible to route the pipes under the car without burning it up?

Al,

I don't see why you couldn't. My older 427 body car has under the car exhaust. The only twist is finding a set of headers, or cutting and re-routing the present ones to dump into a 2 1/2 or 3 inch pipe. Mine run on the outside of the frame rails. Small muffler is right under the seat, but I don't feel any additional heat from the floor. Tail pipes go up and over the rearend.
