I am going to try and post some pics of our new product, its a 36 Cabriolet, we plan to debut it at this years Columbus Street Rod Nationals in July. This is an all weather car with a fold down top, power windows, custom chassis and rumble seat. We have had some of the top people in the street rod industry tell us it is the best engineered body and inner stucture they have seen. Alan Johnson of Johnsons Hot Rod Shop is just a few miles down the road from us and has been checking in from the begining and is very impressed with the fit and finish. All inner structure is lazer cut steel and the body is totally hand laid fiberglass. We are still working on pricing but should have something soon. Hope you all like what you see.

Alan,

Looks Fantastic[^], look forward to seeing it at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville this August.

I guess when I get so "old" I can't crawl into the Cobra I will have to build one of these. What's the engine options, can you stick a Big Block FE into that baby? I think a nice 390 would make it "talk"[}:)].

To all Forum Viewers,

The Street Rod Nationals is the Street Rod Event of the Year, held in Louisville, KY. August 6,7,& 8th. There are over 10,000 Rods that converge on the City, you have to see it to beleive it. I like cars and even if your not a Street Rod Fan the Vendor Area is amazing and the products are applicable to any car build. PPG and Dupont have enormous displays of paint work and colors. The major Vendor area is inside the Air Conditioned KY Fair and Expo Center, and there are other vendors outside. People like Edelbrock, Crane, Roush, Ect., might want to come and see, even a few Cobra's show up.

The more I look at this the more intrigued I become. To heck with the Webers - this has potential for a BIG Weiand Blower! [:P]

Alan, You guys made a lot of progress on the few days after Cobrafest Looks great can't wait to show Gayle. We saw the mold donor last summer in Knoxville. You did a great job on the paint for the donor, love that color. (Grey Blue color for those who did not see it real classy.) Have a great vacation, y'all deserve it!!! DYI project car maybe, a little visibility to get it off running??

alan, looks real good, how many sets of molds did it take to get that body that good ? how are you going to sell it? same as now? (basic, palet , deluxe) ? choice of rear end configuration ( jag, 4 link live axle ( trianglated or panard bar) whatever) ? how bout the front end, whats that? i think youve got a winner. take a bow. later, brian.

Gasman,

The word Cabriolet, means a convertible with roll up windows.
Just like Roadster means no side windows, only panels:).

Have to admit, I just found that out today talking to Alan, he educated me.

They are going to make several firewalls to fit big block Chevy's and Fords, and then one for the Mighty Hemi. If you see most of the Street Rods they are Chevy small blocks, why, $ per dozen, and the parts are cheap and everywhere???? Don't see that, if its a 37 Ford then it should be Ford Powered:DException......The Hemi, for looks[8D]
