Probably more like a blind date that turned out to be a great experience :D:D[^]

Phil Souza, a member of this forum, and his wife Becky invited me and my wife Sandy to meet them at the American Graffiti Festival in Modesto this weekend. Neither of us were able to make Homecoming so we staged a 2-day, 2-car Unique get together on the JC campus in Modesto, along with 750 other cars of various makes, shapes, and sizes.

Phil and his wife are wonderful people (Phil and I came to the conclusion that only really nice folks buy Unique's) and we had fun discussing our builds and exchanges notes (as you can see, Phil S has a beautiful 289 FIA).

Looks like a blast, one thing for sure CA has the cars, all types[^].
I am sure if it wasn't so far :(we would all like to join you out there.

Glad you posted the pics Phil. Man those two Cobra's are really shiny. Maybe its that CA sun. Your car looks great! Glad you did not run across the two guys in the brown van....:D
