Pulled this from another cobra-related site and thought I should post it here:

"If someone shows up at your door, says they're conducting a survey, and asks you to take your clothes off, DON'T DO IT! It's just a scam so they can see you naked.

I feel so stupid and cheap now."

Be careful out there!

Ralph, I'm going on 21 years of marital bliss. I found a good one. The garagemahl is a two fold deal. She gets to convert my existing garage/Harley house into a pool house if I move all the toys to the office. I've been leasing office space for 16 years. Time to bite the bullet and make the commitment in building my own space. Hopefully one of my kids will want to become Gasboy. My oldest son tells me he will take over the business if the pitching deal with the Braves falls through.

Steve Sounds like you, like me, have a good one! Hope it works out for your son pitching for Braves is the stuff that dreams are made of.

Phil and Ralph, My son Andrew is 14, his dream since he was 4 has been to pitch for the Braves. He is a pretty good little ball player and he can put the ball on any corner you call with amazing accuracy. He is a natural lefty at everything except pitching. I'm an idiot, he tried to throw left handed when he was three and I said, lets try the other hand son. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. But as you know the competition to play majors is pretty darn tough. He isn't in the right school to be seen by the scouts. He does get pitching lessons from one of the scouts in this area but it is a long shot at best for him to play the big game. I'd be proud if I could leave my business for him to continue one day.

All I know is that I hit one out of the park against him during our last family softball game:D He wasn't happy;).

In all seriousness, he's a very neat kid...all of Steve's kids are!

Steve sounds like ya'll are doing the right stuff particulary the lessons he is getting from the scout. He no doubt could suggest the right high visibility college. We have a grandchild who at 4 yrs old is very blessed with natural talent and a love of the game. We are trying to avoid him burning out, but help him grow in the sport. Hard to do!
