Great article. I also noticed someone beat Kelly to the orange centerfold.

Brent,

That Orange Car is a 67 Cobra[?], Kelly's is an older 65 model:D.
Probably the reason Kelly didn't get the centerfold;).

Great article and pics! I thought about scanning it in for the folks who havent gotten it yet but didnt know if that was a no-no even if it was about Unique on a forum about Uniques. Legal?

Someone is going to have to help me out here. I haven't been able to find Kit Car down here. What are you talking about[?]

The article Kit Car did on Unique in the latest issue. I figured some of you didnt have it so I was going to scan it in along with the pictures and post it for everyone to see and read. Just wanted to make sure it was ok to do so. If anyone from Kit car gets upset I will delete it I guess. Magazines get funny about using stuff out of their magazines but its about Uninque and on a forum about Unique Cars. I'm at work right now Bitten but when I get home I'l scan and post for you.

Glad you could read it. The scans are very good but huge files so I had to reduce them and they are at max size allowed on forum but they are a bit fuzzy. Best I could do with what I had to work with lol

It is a good article with just a couple of mistakes that I saw. The frames are completely welded in the jig not just tacked. The welding done after they come out of the jig is just to do the places that cann't be done in the jig. Unique no longer does the paint work in house.

CJ,

Thanks for the scan :D:D:D Hope the copy right cops don't hunt you down (kidding, of course). Again, thanks for taking the time.

Okay, I give. From CJ's comment I can only guess that Poorboy is the man behind the mask (page 2), welding? [?]

Mama Jean is even prettier than she sounds on the phone [^]

A side note: After reading the article and realizing just how large this operation is, I am all the more impressed with the high-level of customer service and personal attention we Unique owners receive. I am truly impressed and sincerely thankful that I chose Unique [^][^][^]

I finally got to read the article this morning. Good one! I have got to get down to homecoming next year.

I look forward to the day when I tear mine down and restore it. It is after all nearly 20 years old! When I do, I will have to give the weavers a shout and perhaps I can ship the body and frame down to them for a little restoration and updating!

Cool! I ran out this morning and bought two copies (one for my brother). They make it look sooooo easy... holding that body up there like that. They aren't even breaking a sweat or straining! Silver and white looks sharp.

For those of you who have not been to the shop, this is pretty much what it looks like. And the smiling faces... those are always there, too!
