Did anyone see the special on the Cobra, went from the early years of Carrol Shelby, the first Cobra up through the Daytona Coupe, and the 427 Cobra. Ended with some shots of the "new" Ford Cobra concept car. One hour long, pretty intresting. This was a new 2004 special.

Was that on that Autorotica show? I think I have that on "TIVO".

It was on the Speed channel and I think that was the name of the show John.
I thought it was well done. I loved the part when Carrol was telling the story
of needing more horsepower because of the Grand Sports so they dropped in a 427
in the original FIA "it was so ugly, we called it a turd". I liked to have fell
off my chair lol.

Wow, I saw the show and it was great! Caroll is 81 now and still moving strong. Bless his heart. I really enjoyed seeing Phil Remmington. He deserves alot of the credit for chassis stuff. I was disappointed that Peter Brock got zero mention for all the work he did on the daytona coupe though. The show that followed was a muscle car shootout. That was good too!
