phil , you did an excellent job. i did the same thing to my car when i built it in 2001. at homecoming this year, the same cover was on all the new product on display in the shop.(on the hood hinge, never looked in the trunk.) later, brian

Very good:D, is that a "real" Cobra with all that aluminum showing[?]
Now, I dont know about those long bolts sticking out of those hinges[V]

Yeah, I know.... was kind of in a hurry back in the spring and was thinking more about the road than anything else. Winter is coming [8D]

Phil, are those flat plates or did you have a metal brake and fab them yourself? Looks real clean but cant tell how its fastened. I probably would have a better idea on how you fastened it if I had my Cobra. *waiting patiently*

Phil, cover look great. What will make look greater is to cut off part of hinge bolts and put on cap nuts. I left nut on mine, sawed off bolt with dremel (left about 1/4" of threads) and screwed cap nut on top. You can get at Lowes or HomeDepot.

CJ - I got the plates from Unique, but if you have access to a break they would be easy enough to make. The are secured with pop rivets on the bottom (three per Alan's advise).
I should be posting more pictures so, with help of all those eagle-eyes out there, I can increase my list of "to do's" for the winter (yes Mike, it does get into the 30's in the winter [8D])
