I hope its as nice of a day where you are and you guys are out enjoying a ride in the cobra's. I know I would be if mine was done. But I'm doing the next best thing and thats working on my motor. I got the block painted and all the threads chased and the shortblock reassembled. Oil pump next then the heads....
What do you guys think about the intake? I lite sand blasted it to make it look new again and has the same look as when it came out of the box. Think I should leave it natural, paint it, polish it? Tough decisions lol

Beautiful weather here as well. The heat final broke and woke to 60 degrees with a forecasted high of 84.......... so, guess what I did this morning :D

Natural - paint - polish? When in doubt.... POLISH [:P]

When in doubt, ask Brent. Five bucks says, he says polish.

CJ,

I saw your car on Monday and Tuesday this week. Maurice was working on the pipes. I guess it never happens fast enough, but it was looking good. I'm sorry I did not take a photo for you. Keep lookin' up... it won't be as long as it seems :)

Thanks for the news Paul. Clay, most likely I'm going to have Jodeco do my painting and I'm going with black with titanium stripes.

It was Harley weather, since the bike been neglected lately:(. Cheryl and I cranked it up and put about 85 miles on the Lowrider. Still runs great:D, I don't think I would bet on it or the Cobra, they are close. Just a different kind of fun[^].

CJ- regarding your intake....I put a satin clearcoat powder coat in my old Vette's intake several years ago. It really looks nice and resists all those things that normally stain/discolor bare aluminum.

Phil I like the look of the bare aluminum too, do you remember what product you used?

I know what you mean Rick, my Jeep is no Cobra or Harley but it sure was nice with the top off with the wife and kids riding through the backroads of Dawson forest this weekend.

CJ- the car club here in town bought a powder coat system from Eastwood....it was their product and it worked really great.

I put Zoopseal on all of my polished components (heads, Vic Jr. intake and water pump. It's been close to a year and no problems so far.
