The Hurst shifter that came with my FIA is a piece of junk. So, I bought a Steeda Tri-Ax (specifically for the Tremec 3550) to replace it. However, I have discovered that all three shifter positions on the transmission do not have the same bolt patterns.

The Tri-Ax shifter I bought is designed for the rear shifter position, but my FIA has the shifter in the center position. I called Steeda, who said that they don't make a shifter for the center position on the 3550, and don't know anybody that does. So my question for you FIA guys who are running a Tremec is: what aftermarket shifter are you using?

Thanks,

Russ

My transmission came from Don Scott at Minnesota Motorsports (see Club Cobra). There was a specific kit to move the shifter to the correct location.
