OK, Gasman, so you know how to post pictures. But, the whole idea is to take pictures of the mods, WHILE, they were in progress. We've seen plenty of pictures of finished Cobras:D.

Ralph, My daughter Katie sent me this picture by email. Apparently taken by a UGA student who had gone out to restock the refrigerator. UGA...you know...the drinking school with the football problem.

I don't know what brand of Cobra that is but it sure as hell ain't got no 9" rearend under it.

The track is WAY TOO WIDE!

WAIT........Unattractive,exagerated bodylines, and a perky butt. She must be a Factory Five.

Now I have it.

Yep – trying out brand X, You know, for the most part all our cars look and run pretty dang similar. I still check in here on regular basis. There are some good folks in here and a wealth of knowledge. The SPF forum seems week and lame[xx(]. I have only made one post there. Anyway, I appreciate you guys not kicking me out.
Clay – At lease I did bye a Vette – Traitor[B)];).

I know........but Ford refuses to build a car in this class and price-range. I've never liked Vettes before, but this one is an entirely, different animal, smaller, lighter, faster, and to my eye even looks good. It also has the refinement of German sports cars I've had for years. In fact, it's beaten the Porsche 997S in three different comparos (C&D, R&T, and Automobile), which speaks volumes since the 997S is $40K more.

Would I rather have a Ford GT, sure........but not at even the MSRP, which no one, except Jay Leno, can get.

Wes, Welcome aboard!

The big thing that seperates a Superformance forum from a Unique forum is the people. You will also notice this if you attend Cobra functions and speak in depth to both owners. A Superformance Cobra is ususlly sold turn key with a small block Ford or a Crate 460. These are the same buyers you will find at the Ford dealership buying a new Mustang. Most of them cant even change their own oil. I am not saying all of them. I have met some VERY knowledgable Superformance owners. I am only refering to the masses.

Yeah, you’re right Brent. There seems to be a much lower percentage of hands on “DIY” types driving SPFs. Not that there is anything wrong with that[^].
I have nothing against a Unique. I actually prefer the look and stance of the Uniques, but I just wanted more of a track car and there is a glut of used SPFs, thus some very good deals out there in the market place.
Anyway, my first love was a unique[}:)], and you guys know that 2nd time is not quite as thrilling as the 1st;).
I'll stick around for moral support – OK.
Wes
