A while back I thought there was post about the soft top scratching the paint on the rear deck and a remedy for this. Anyone remember this post or any known good fixes?

Thanks in advance

The only remedies I've heard are to glue felt pads to the bottom of the snaps in the top or (less desirable to me) to use a layer of clear static-cling (or adhesive) film like the stuff from 3M or Invinca Shield (sp?) cut to form a strip covering the area where the top contacts the body.

I cut a large black piece of fleece material using my tonneau cover as a pattern. I use it under the tonneau and top. My tonneau has a glove-snug fit and this prevents paint chaffing. When I am using the soft top, the excess frontal material is simply rolled up and placed neatly behind the seats.
