Taking body off of frame

What do you use to support the body when it's off the frame? Should I build a frame on casters to take the body to paint?

Yes! If you don't the body will droop. Build a wooden body buck (replicating the frame) and mount casters for ease of movement (your painter will love it). If Alan can't supply a diagram/plans, let me know and I'll scan what I have and send them to you. Around $100 in materials.

Here's a link that I used quite a bit when I was building mine. On the left side of the page you will find a link to "Body Buck". There are three .PDF files you can print (Buck -1, 2, and 3). That should get you going in the right direction! ;)
