Is that a AMC Rambler? Looks Like a Falcon front fender. Is that Taking money from your Cobra fund? Beacause I almost started restoring a 64 T-bird But it would cost me at least 25 grand three years of my life and that much farther away from my Cobra. I stopped myself and the Bird the parts car and a few new parts are for sale and My cobra and engine are ordered. Luckily for me my wife hates the 64 T-Bird HT and loves the Cobra(no Top).
So what kind of car is that? looks early 60's

That is so cool!! I thought that was a Falcon but had never seen a fastback version. I know that H/M were big pushers of fastbacks for stock car racing and made Ford produce the fast back Fairlane/Torinos to win races. They made a removable hardtop for the '62 Galaxies that was the same shape as the 61 Starliner roof line. Nascar said it was illigal because it was not a factory production option. But a 62 falcon fastback?!? That is something else! That has got to be one of the rarest cars there is!

Thanks. Do you know if they ever raced the car?
