I have a Pioneer Clutch and Pressure plate that has about 300 miles on it. It was softer than I liked and opted for a McLeod setup when the new motor went in. Does anyone want these parts?

Nah, he should have asked me first before posting the offer. Fortunately, I showed up in time;).

Steve
Let me know how you like your new clutch. Mine doesn't seem very strong and I've been looking at a "Spec" clutch made by a local company esp. for Ford motors.

Bob, After about 75 miles, I'd say that I like it very much.

I have never liked the Pioneer clutch set up, I don't think they are strong enough for a performance engine.

I agree with that. May be good for the 350hp and less crate engines.

Now you tell me................isn't that what Bill Parham put on it? My current clutch is doing OK, but I think maybe starting to slip a little.

Yes, this is what Bill would put in if you didn't spec something special. As long as you don't mind paying labor to replace it twice...use the parts. It will last about 2,000 miles.
