Are you about to give up on Tireguy?

I have no loyalty to anyone. I just want a nice tire. To be honest the Yoko's are doing great right now so the tire thing is not really a big deal.........yet.

The sizes don't look bad! I emailed them for some information. 26x8, 10 or 12...... hmmmmmmm. Original comp and sc cars where 9.9x15 and 11.9x15 which comes close to the 245/60 and 295/50.

I have sent a note to Mickey Thompson about the tires. According to Discount tire (who called them) they will not be out for a month or two and the prices are not yet know.

Brent, I wasn't asking you if you were loyal to anyone. I was asking if you thought Tireguy was actually going to successfully develop a decent tire.;)

Brent, From what I've read in previous threads, I was under the impression you were working with "Tireguy" in the research and development to produce a good tire. Is that not the case?

I am working with him, but, if someone beats him to the punch with a better product then he loses. There was NEVER a financial gain in it for me just a better tire for the Cobra community. It seemed everyone wanted to bitch but nobody wanted to do anything about it. I made the calls and pushed the buttons, that's all I could do.

I am still working with "Tireguy" and will do all I can but if a good tire comes out for a Cobra before he finishes I will buy it.

Me too, I'll buy the first decent tire that arrives at the party. I was just curious about whether Tireguy's heart was really in it. He's just disappeared recently, after a good initial show. It appears he's had a couple of set-backs, and he could have easily lost interest.
