Hi Jim:

The paint was done by a painter the Weavers recommended, Tony Scott. I don't know the name of the company though. I believe the car will be ready within the next week or so.

Yours should be ready by then as well?

You're getting close! I like the dash layout. We considered using a similar one and even fabricating in the center drop section common to street cars. For our car it just wouldn't look right with all the racing parts, so we're opting for a modified race pattern.

How's that motor coming?

The engine is done, we are modifying the shifter on the trans to fit in the tunnel. As soon as we get the car it should go in pretty easy.

Unfortunately we will not be able to attend Pigeon Forge. I was looking forward to taking my car there and seeing all you guys. Our daughter is getting married on Saturday the 10th. Next year I will be there for Homecoming and also Pigeon Forge.

Juan--coming on together man, looks great, i haven,t been over to gadsden in a while, my work usually takes me through there , but not lately, will try to get that way -make a special trip for lunch mayby.Dennis caught me and Joan in Newnan ,Ga. car show sat. night, did we get wet, have car and everything else drying out in basement.It has rained so much here from dennis and assoc. low pressure , never this much rain.Keep us up with your build, enthusiasm gives me a good boost.Zach cranked chevelle last sat. pm, sounded great.
