Here are the latest photos from Alan of my turnkey minus. Above the insulation goes in before carpeting. Below the engine compartment is getting ready for the Ford crate motor.

The trunk is carpeted, battery installed. The grill gets fitted and the oil cooler hooked up. We are getting closer fast.

I know Ralph. I am so excited, I can't believe the car is almost here. Alan is doing a sperctacular job. I am quite sure he does the same for everybody but I feel special because it is mine.

Phil:

If we get the car before August I think it is safe to assume that by the end of August we could be driving. I am not setting a deadline since we will be making adjustments to different aspects of the engine compartment and rest of the car so the time has to be flexible. Rick is pretty much in control of the schedule and I have to leave it up to him. The attitude I am assuming is one of not trying to rush the schedule. I rather have things done well even if it takes longer. We don't want to have to redo things.

However, hurry up car and get here already!!!!!!!!

Oh ya Juan, I love the way you designed in that cup holder in the first photo ;)[}:)]! That will really come in handy on those hot summer drives [:P]. Wait a minute, did you do that in Photo Shop [:O];)?

It looks great Juan!

Juan-the bright spot in my summer has been your build pictures and enthusiasm, your color is going to be closer to mine than you think. Will-alabama

Hi Will:

It certainly has been an experience for me seeing the progress of the build. While I have not taken part of the build, Alan has done a spectacular job, at least I have been involved with Rick on the drivetrain portion of it. I don't have the skill nor the space to undertake the huge task of building one of these kits. I have gained an appreciation for what you guys have gone through to build one.

I am in the process of building a booklet that documents the build process from my perspective. Next time I see you guys I will share it with you.

Juan, it looks great! I can give you a few pointers that may help you speed things along with Rick. Here are a few suggestions of what to say when you are around him.

1.) Yes sir Rick
2.) Whatever you say Rick
3.) Cheryl, you look particularly stunning this evening. Did Rick pick out that outfit?
4.) Can I get you another cold beverage Rick.

It will be finished in no time flat.

Juan, did I ever show you my build book step by step instructions? I know I showed it to Brent.

Next time I'm up if you haven't seen it I'll bring it along.

"Wait a minute, did you do that in Photo Shop"

With Juan and his great expertise in Photo Shop, those of us that will have to wait until next homecoming will be wondering if we're seeing a REAL car...

Hi Paul:

The only problem with a Photoshot rendered car is: Ican't drive it otherwise I'd be long gone. It is so close to being finished I can't stand it.
