Rick Dorman, One Of LCS's, London Cobra Show's Fearless Leaders, GRINCITY, UNIQUE 427 SC.

If you look close at the picture, see the woman in the upper left hand corner? She was probably in her mid fifties and when we stopped at the red light she got out of the van and filled with emotion and shaking gave all the Cobras two big thumbs up. That is what I'm talking about. Gotta love these cars and the effect they have on people everywhere.

Do you have any other pictures of the red Cobra? Like the look
without the rollbar.

Geesh! Who are those idiots. Going to get into a crash!! The car turned 20 last December. This December I am going to take it out and get it drunk for its birthday. 20 year old paint, interior, etc. Of course the mechanics have been gone through. I have put 17,000 miles on it in the last three years, over 30,000 total. I will try and post some pics.

For those of you that have been to Unique, right inside the front door there is a poster of a red and white Cobra, you guessed, mine from when it was new. By the way, it is a Roadster and not an S/C!

Damn!!!! I'm looking forward to mine being in that kind of shape in 18 years [^] ..... but that will make me XX years old [xx(]

BTW, I hope you guys don't drive down the highway like that - that is what rear view mirrors are for ;)

Thanks guys. I like having a unique Unique to tinker with! One of the guys at the homecoming thought it was a Everett Morris or something like that!

Phil, you have rear view mirrors that work;)

I really like the look of the back end of your car.
I mentioned in an earlier post that my plans for this year
might include cutting off the rear wheel arch flares and
running the exhausts under the car...The roll bar has already
been removed.
Based on your pics, my mind is made up....the wheel arch flares
are history....but I'm going to have to get some narrower rubber
or some rims with more back space to pull the wheels in a bit.
It's only time and money.....whats new.

Going Roadster 'eh Mike? I wish I had a side and rear picture handy. If a FFR is perky, then mine is 'droopy'. The rear is really low slung and I love the look. The front wheel arches are much more open as well but I really don't think that was exactly the way they where.

Rick,

Please take some photos to show us what you are describing and post them. I would love to see how you have it set up. I am sure that others would enjoy it, as well :).

Not a great shot but....

http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=8455&password=&sort=1&cat=500&page=5

Looks like they caught me begining to lauch so a little lower than normal. Also, notice that the body sits low on the left, it does that naturally even though the ride height is set the same. Also, the curves over the fenders are a little less pronounced, both front and rear.

Notice the size of the opening in the front fender arches here as well as the 'butt' profile!
