And finally a rolling chassis. The next pictures will probably be after I take possesion of the car.

I cannot begin to tell you how totally psyched I am at this point. We will be heading to Knoxville on Sunday to pick the car up at Butch Capps.

No sleep for the next three days.

Juan,
Looks great! I am envious and can't wait until I see my own car in that same state.

Am I forgetting something??? I thought you were going with the roll bar delete?

Love that grill....

Car looks great! For some reason, I thought you were going with wire wheels although I wondered how they would handle the torque.

Hi Walter:

Yes I am going with wire wheels but not just now. They are a lot more expensive and my budget is shot already. So I must wait to build up the piggy bank.

Looks awesome Juan :D:D, but speaking of wheels, aren't you going to use the FIA wheels, rather than the 427 wheels, until you go with the wire ones?

Hi Paul:

I intended to get FIA wheels but I must have miscommunicated to Alan and Maurice about the wheels and must have said GT-40 wheels when I spec'd the car so they bought and installed GT-40 wheels. Too late I guess. As it turns out I stand a better chance of selling the GT-40 wheels than the FIA's.

Anyway as soon as I can I am buying wire wheels. Just for a little while.

The exhaust exit at the rear of the car. Take a look at the rear photo of car.

WOW!

Juan, you already know how much I loved the concept rendering, but the reality is even more beautiful! I was particularly interested in how the semi-street setup would look while maintaining the rollbar of the FIA; it works into the overall machine very nicely. [^]

The extra brightwork in the grill & the undercar exhausts give it more of what you might call the "gentleman's sportscar" look. I.E. - whether you put on your racing togs & head to the track, or don your tweed jacket & touring cap to head out for a fall drive in the country, this Cobra is going to look the part.

Congrats!
