While browsing through my photo album of the London Cobra Show I came across this one of a Unique 427. Any of you know who this car belongs to? Has the most awesome dark green blue color.

The green paint looks very similar to a greenish blue color Mazda used on 95' RX 7's.

The car belonged to our old dealer Bill Keller and was painted the same color as his 97 Ford F350, it now belongs to Mike Lainhardt from Hunstville Al.

My Cobra was built by Bill Keller.Bill built it in "95-96" the buyer had some personal problems and could not take the car when it was completed. It was bought from Bill in "96-97".I got the car in "98" it is the only one I have seen with the spilter in the grill.
Bill was a great guy and I am glad he was still in Ohio when I bought my car.

I also have a splitter in my grill.
It was inspired from a late 80's poster
showing a red 427 with a guy wearing sun glasses
driving it.
The leading edge of my splitter is chrome..same as the poster.

Mike or Lonny,
Do you have any closeup pictures of your splitters? All of the pictures I've seen of them are black and white. I just took another look in the "Shelby Cobra Gold Portfolio" book and it shows both 289 and 427 street versions with splitters.

You guys talk too much about cars. What I want to know is who is that great looking guy in the gray British driving hat?

Never mind that guy with the hat... the paint on this car must be really something. The woman in the center is doing her hair looking at her reflection, and the other lady is stunned looking into the depth of the finish ;)[8D]!

If i can get hold of a digital camera.
And have my son teach me how to attach pics. to this site,
I'll send you some pics. of my splitter.
Unique installed it before I picked up my DL pallet kit.
I had it painted the same color as the car, then stuck
a strip of chrome on the leading edge.
