Jim:

You have to enter a return immediately after each photo for them to stack on top of each other.

Jim. I jack my car up using the frame rather than the suspension.

I use the front and rear x-members to lift the car, and place the jack stands under/on the frame rails.

Jim,

You can go back and edit your posts to include the returns between pics. Just click on the edit link at the top of your post. It looks like a piece of paper with a little pencil over it.

Jim, the best place for jack stands are under the suspension, that is the same as being on the ground and doesn't put any pressure on the frame. There is alot of weight on the nose and rear when you put jacks under the frame, this can cause your door to droop where it latches and can cause paint damage. I use the shock mount in the rear and the lower a arm in the front.

Thanks Alan I did not know that. It will make Jacking a lot easier. I always thought the frame was the best place to support the car. Live and learn..

alan, so the photos are correct? guys, i know this is basic but make sure you whack the bottom of the jackstands with a hammer after relieving jack pressure because these sloped surfaces tend to cock the stands. jim

p.s. thanks juan and slither. i fixed posts.

I learned something too. That would be a nice add in the manual.
