TOP RADIATOR HOSE [Archive]

Someone please shed some light, the top radiator pipe(metal pipe) has a stud bolt coming out one side....not sure what for, is it mount for bracing along the side of the inner fender?

Set the pipe with hoses where they all fit, mark bolt location on inner finder, put tape over location of hole and then drill. Tape will help prevent paint from chipping.

Some people do this and some people do not. I did not use the pipe with the support stud in it. Most of the 427 S/C cars I have seen with FE engines dont use it. One of those you make the call items in the build;).
