Rear Hub Grease

Has anyone put grease in there rear hubs. If so, how did you put in, and what type of grease? Do you fill the entire hub with grease?

Take off the little cap near the top and pump it in until it is full. No need to over do it. Grease the other fittings as usual. On my uprights, for some reason, there is a little hole out of sight in the rear of the hub. The first time I lubed the bottom pivot zerk I thought "man this is taking a lot of lube"! That was until the baseball sized glob that I had pumped out the back fell to the floor! I use a valvoline synthetic based grease that I buy at NAPA. No particular reason why that I can recall!:)
