Finally the Dayton Wire Wheels are on. They are awesome. The car is still up on jacks and waiting for the engine plumbing that Rick is doing this weekend. Then minor items that need to be dealt with such as wiring, adjustments to the shifter, battery box installation and fuel tank filler pipe installation.

Shortly we will be ready for engine start up. I have been gone for a while and have not taken any pictures because not much had been done but here shortly we will be having the car off the jacks and out of the garage and ready for first drive.

Here is a look at the shifter Rick installed. Note access panel on the left of the tunnel for access to the shifter for adjustments if necessary. This will be covered by a metal panel with screws and covered with carpeting.

The cutout is for access to the shifter for adjustments if necessary. It will be covered with a metal panel wrapped with carpet.
