In July I was invited to have my car photographed in front of the famous Bidwell Mansion In Chico, CA. A new Ford GT was also invited. The photos were signed by Carroll and Dan Gurney, and auctioned at the pre-Concours Gala with the proceeds going to charities. I was fortunate enough to receive a signed copy of my car with certification. I was also fortunate to take 1st place in my class (prototypes and replicas). I'm a bit late in posting - the event took place on September 11. The photo isn't so much about the car, as it is the Mansion and Shelby's autograph. At any rate, I'm pretty proud to have a repeat 1st place at this event [^]

Thanks guys... I just couldn't resist posting this :D You all had a hand in building this car (whether you know it or not) through this forum. Brent, I feel a particular connection to you, as we were on approximately the same schedule as we were building (although I think I may have gotten ahead of you a bit by playing hooky from work a few times - when I was working!) ;)

yall take care, ya hear.

Now..don't be telling Phil too many good things about his car.
The next thing you know, he'll be buying a trailer and become a
'trailer queen' instead of driving it.

Really great Phil! Going to frame it and hang it on the wall in your trophy room? Did Carroll say anything about your car when he signed the picture?

Very nice Phil - but about that playing hooky from work thing, is that why my phone bill is so high? :D
