Had a chance to cruise with Tony Naumoff this weekend. The weather was spectacular, both cars running great, and some nice sights to see:

The first Capital of Maryland....the British Colony that is, in St. Mary's City:

This is Soloman Island, MD across the river from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. While we were sitting here, a free-lance professional photographer for various car mags, etc., showed up and wanted to take pictures. He had us move the cars around to various positions, and he's sending us a CD. These are not his photographs:

Looks like lots of fun. We found 4 inches of snow in the driveway this morning and drove the SUV to work. Great photos of a neat part of the country and awesome cars. Keep the photos coming!

Hey Tony and Clay....Thanks for stopping by yesterday during your cruise. It was good seeing both Cobras out and about. It was a good break for me from the home renovation projects. Also, I think we converted Eric over from Corvettes.

Tony....did you have enough daylite left after St Mary's City to take Clay back to Prince Frederick via Mackalls, Grays, and Sixes road??

Stop by anytime.

John,
Glad we could give you a break.
What sold Eric on converting?
We went straight up 4. Running low on sunlight.
To much deer activity for those roads right now.
The roads in St Marys county are nice and wide with enough twist for fun and plenty of visibilty to see what is coming on to the roads from the sides. This is one of the reasons I wanted to take Clay over to St. Marys City.
Some Guy in a new M-3 for some odd reason wanted to race me from the light at Ball Road. He rev'd his engine and dump the clutch. That is all I heard. I hit the pedal and he disapeared behind me.

Clay, did he run it through the gears or did he just give up?

I think my wife is a race magnet. Maybe they think I won't do anything with her in the car. No one so far has tried anything when I'm by myself.[^]

John, nice to meet you too. We ran out of daylight heading out of St. Mary's City.

Tony, I pulled him too, and after I nosed by him, I backed off at about 70. He then took off again for a short burst. I think he tried, initially, and then gave up. He was actually a nice guy. After we quit playing, I pulled by him, he rolled down the window, shook his head, smiled and gave me the thumbs up.

Did you get the full formatted pictures in an e-mail? For some reason, I think it may have exceed the upload limit of Earthlink, and if so, I'll have to send them in installments.

That is cool.[8D]
It's all about having a little fun.:D

No Email.
Just came back from my brother's place in Colonial Beach, Va.
Took the Cobra. I have almost 1000 miles on it.
Time to adjust the valves, change the oil again and go through the whole car.:DI love it![:P] Lots of fun.

Tony/Clay.....I meant to tell you guys yesterday that if you are ever in the area and you get threatened by rain or thunderboomers (more applicable in the Summer) that you are welcome to duck in at our house. If Kelly and I are not home, there will most likely be a space open under the carport. If we are home, we will make space for you under the carport or in the garage...

Keep in touch.

Two Blacks and a Silver. That would have made for some good Photos.
Sorry Jim.
St. Mary's County has some great cruisin' roads.

Where were you cruisin' Saturday?

I came through La Plata Sunday on the way home from My brother's.
It was dark, about 6PM.
I thought about you when I was turning on 488. I saw a county Deputy Sheriff.
I figured if I raised some Hell they would come looking for you.:D

Clay, Tony,

Don't know if I could have gotten out Saturday to cruise with you for too long...... JoAnn had a yard sale (along with the two daughters) so after I helped them set up tables and what not, I got the heck out of there ;) and burned up about a half a tank of gas just cruising around the back roads of Charles County. Did hit St. Mary's for a few miles when I cut across Budds Creek road. Got home in time to help them break things down. Sunday, she decided to go shopping (to spend some of the dough she made at the sale) so I got out for a couple hours to burn the rest of the tank :D:D

Drop me an e-mail or phone call if you and Tony go out to play again.

And Tony.... most of the cops around here already know me..... and my car..... and I've haven't had a ticket if over 30 years..... pays to be on their side of the scrimmage line... if you get my drift [:P]
