here are photos of my brake and clutch line routing. they are well away from the headers and remain outside the footbox. the lines only cross over each other where they are out of sight so it looks neat. all of the lines were standard lengths with a few couplers so no flaring or flex lines were required. i will dress the lines with the stainless and rubber clamps and insulate the lower portion from the transmission tunnel and below.. has anyone used Cool-it thermo-flex insulation sleeve or Cool-it thermo-shield wrapping tape? which works better?

Looking good! I used the sleeve... gotta be easier than tape.

looks good Jim.
I'd insulated them in the tunnel aswell.
Don't forget the heat shield for the master cylinders.
I re-routed mine too.
I am having a heat issue with clutch hydraulics.
Just have to change the fluid again.

I got some thermo insulation that looks like cloth tubing, slid it on and then slid on some of the Cool-It Thermo Sleeve to give it a finished look. Used the smallest sizes.

thanks guys. i think i will use that thermo sleeve as it might be cleaner than tape. can you slit it as i would like to cover that bundle of 3 lines with one piece for cosmetic reasons? it will never slide over all the curves. jim o

If you get the small sleeve it will slide over the bends - no problem. Personally, I think it will look better than bundeling it.

phil, you mean separate the 3 lines running down the tunnel and mounting them parallel to each other with individual sleeves? ya, it might look better. jo
