All,

I cleared the database and migrated all the data to the new site. This is just a test migration. Take a look when you have a chance and try the password reset function. Let me know how it goes.

I'd like to schedule the cutover for Sunday evening.

Patrick,
Can you explain where the password reset function is on the new site? I have gone through the registration page and gotten the message that my username is already active...Do we need to re-register or is there simply a way to reset the password?

Can you please clarify?

Try to login normally. It will fail and you will see a link to the password recovery system.

I think it worked patrick but could not read the message fast enough after I hit the reset button.

Worked for me Patrick, using the password change procedure. I was able to see all the old threads in the new-look Forum. It looks great.

Patrick I entered the username and password provided and I keep getting the message invalid username/password.

You'll have to setup your avatar again. Those won't migrate.

Patrick, in all sincerity, thanks so much for making this happen. Hopefully those who haven't helped support this site in the past will pony up and do what is right. Thanks again for your dedication and tireless effort!

Just wish I could subscribe to all topics and be notified when something is going on ;) :D
