While escorting President Bush through a large airport last week, my dog, Professor Vernon Von Studebaker defused a potentially dangerous situation.Pres. bush encountered a long haired man wearing a white robe,sandals and holding a staff. Pres. Bush asked the man"has anyone told you that you look like Moses?"Man didn,t answer at all, stared straight ahead, Bush said loudly "Moses", man just stared ahead. Pres. Bush pulled the old Professor aside and asked"am I crazy or does that man look like Moses to you?"Prof. looked at man and agreed with Bush.Professor Vernon Von Studebaker, my dog, eased up to the man in the white robe and whispered "you look just like Moses, are you Moses?"The man leaned over and whispered back to Vernon "yes, I am moses, however ,the last time I talked to a bush, I spent 40 years in the desert and ended up leading my people to the only spot in the entire middle east where there is no oil."
