I want to drill a hole in the spinner so I can safety wire it...it is only for looks and won't be funtional, so dont flame me to bad...I have always love that look, and I work on aircraft for a living so it is a natural fit for me.
So I need the pic so I can drill it and make it look authentic, by knowing the exact location.
I have the painted centers/ compomotive wheels...should I use stainless steel safety wire, or aluminum...I dont want to scratch the paint, and I can get the S.S. all day for free, but I think the aluminum might be easier on the paint!
If anyone has done this job before, I would appreciate any advice or tips you may have.
