Well, as mentioned in another thread, Sandy and I are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl, Catha. She got here on Monday afternoon. We were really blessed all the way around - my first cousin wound up getting to be Sandy's labor & delivery nurse; mine & Cy's pediatrician growing up is going to be the baby's doctor; and Sandy's OB/GYN is the daughter of the OB/GYN that delivered me. No doubt about it, the the good Lord set everything up for us and took care of us every step of the way!

Anyhow, here are a few photos. One of Sandy & Catha, one of "De" with her, and one of "Mumzee" with her.

A proud day indeed. My wife is an OB nurse at a local hospital - they produce about 550/mo!.

Our best to all (Will... grand daughters are the best!... but the boys aren't bad either).

Zach, Sandy, Will, and Joan, Gayle could not wait to push me out of the way to see the pictures of Catha. She is a doll! The Lord works in mysterious ways, and it sounds like he had everything lined up for y'all. God Bless hope to see you at the "forge".

Congrats! Our little girl is about to tunr 4 this weekend, it seems like just yesterday that she was born. She is by far my favorite toy, and she likes cars!
Mom doesn't know it but I am trying to get her a motorized vehicle of sorts for her birthday.

Went to visit the shop today with Catha. I don't think Mrs. Jean held her for more than an hour and a half or so. :)

Anyhow, here are some photos we promised to post of the baby:

* practicing being a beauty queen
* working on her speed shifts (note how intently she's looking at the tach!)
* working on her steering

After spending several hours fabricating some stuff for the car I went out early the next morning to loose fit them. I had one part missing. I searched for about 1.5 hours in all three places it would have been.

1. In the car
2. In the old shop with the drill press or the milling machine.
3. In the old shop at the bandsaw.

I finally realized I was showing some signs of insanity. I decided for some help and asked Dakota, (5 year old grandson) to come help me. I described the part I was looking for and asked if he had seen it. He thought for a few minutes and actually said the dogs got it pawpaw.

We never did find the part. Those Healers are really good at hiding stuff!
