Not being used to the vertical mounting of the ford thermostats I've decided to drill two holes in my thermostat. One would be for burping that I've seen on threads here and one on the bottom for draining that last little bit that gets stuck between the expansion tank and thermostat. I hate the smell of anti-freeze.

Diego - I recently drilled weep holes in my thermostat. I started with three 3/32 inch and have found that I only needed one. I ended up epoxying two holes shut to allow the engine to warm up quicker and maintain a steady 180 degrees. It's amazing how much flow you can get with those small holes. Orient the hole at the bottom during install.
