I love the term "original patina" Question in the cockpit shot they showed the gear shift and below/behind it was another black knob. Any idea what is for line lock, reverse lock out??

Let's see........if trailored, the 1200 original miles converts to approximately 4800 trips down the drag race track!!!!!

Interesting - if I had to guess, I'd go with reverse lock out since that function is obviously missing from the shift handle itself. The little knob doesn't look like it has any type of ferrule or anything where the cable or shaft passes through the trans tunnel, either.

Maybe it's the handle for engaging warp drive??? ;)
