I put some new skins on the 67 Fairlane I bought. The ones that came off were made in 1978 so I reckon it really had been in a barn for 30 some-odd years. Car runs fine and drives better than I expected. Man I bought it from was the second owner and had already bought every piece of rubber it has for it along with master cyl and booster, wheel cyl, ford logos window levers ect. He became ill and I bought it. Don't know why except that my father used to have one just like it that was blue. This car also had every service performed on the car with the orginal paperork from Rebsamen Ford, Little Rock. The 2.79 rear with the 289 isn't a powerhouse but cruises ok at 70-75 MPH.

Here are some pics, best of all its already red so there won't be a major color change involved when we start working with it.[thumb]

I can only upload three pics at once so here are two more.

On another note my Mother In Law came home from the PI last Wed. Brought me some San Miguel Grandes. I'll start disposing of them properly.

That lookslike it's totaly complete and unmolested. Are you going to keep it stock?

I'm still trying to decide. It is the most complete 42 year old car I've ever seen. On one side I'm thinking about my brothers Demon with a 340 that out pulled my Cobra from a 60 MPH rolling start and want to build something to get even, with a groc hauler. On the other hand like I said earlier its hard to find one this complete that you have the whole history on. I'll decide when I finish the other project.

You have a real jewel there - consider your options carefully. :)
