An until Ford and Shelby decided to tie a can to Enzo's tail in the late 60's he thought he was pretty good. About 10 years ago we dropped in to visit the Ferrari museum and noted that there was a big gap in the historical display. It seemed that three years didn't exist. I knew why but just had to ask the guide there why these years were missing from the Lemans exibit. He seemed a bit embarassed and admitted that those were the years that Ford won. I pretended to not know about this and asked if the races were close and he admitted that "no they weren't".
