Seat Belts

Anyone running other seat belts besides the 4 or 5 points. If so what type brand, and where to get um.

you can get regular car seat belts at Summit racing or Jegs.

I used Summit part # BOB50502. 3 inch, black, with racing type latch that will accommodate a shoulder harness if you decide to add it later. Be sure to secure the inboard side by drilling through the floor and into the driveshaft safety loop. You can use a long grade 5 or better bolt to go up through the floor and fasten to the seatbelt mounting tap. This is much more secure than just using fender washers in the fiberglass floor! I have seen people actually do that....scary! The Unique build DVD has some useful pics.

seatbelt connection are not meant to be bolted flat to the surface so they won't bend when stressed. I bolted on a piece of angle steel then bolted seatbelt bracket to that.
