Dear all,

New to this forum I would like to introduce myself.
55 years old from Germany and looking back to a reasonable Cobra career.
I’m happy to have a girl friend at my side being also enthusiastic about Cobras and having fun to drive herself.
I started with a Southern Roadcraft, ran a Backdraft and a Dax and ended up with a SPF, Unique 427SC and an aluminium-bodied 289 Sports which is under restoration now.

In detail:

SPF: Dennis Olthoff build with an 427 Roush SR and TKO600, solid dark blue.
Unique: Factory build rolling chassis with GM 502 HO and Th700R, solid “Admiral” blue.
289 Sport (Street) under restoration: Mk III frame with aluminium body came to me after a long odyssey (last ten years stored with a restoration shop alone) last October as a “rolling chassis” without any interior or exterior,, no gearbox but with an original 427sideoiler (which will be never placed in this car).
I’m not a racer for sure, even I do some drag racing but more as a event for socialising. (Take the Unique due to automatic transmission :-)) ). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2IKMrsnnmc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2IKMrsnnmc)

Last not least and say “Sorry”, because written in German. However pictures say more than thousand words, here my project: http://ak-289-sports-car.cms4people.de/index.html (http://ak-289-sports-car.cms4people.de/index.html)

So long

Welcome to the Unique family. How long have you owned your Unique?

Bought it early spring 2007 in Ohio from 2. owner.
The only major improvement has been the change from 16"/17" wheels to period correct 15" wheels with Vintage wheels adapters and wheels and had to renew a burned automatic transmission.
Just doing an overhaul for better engine cooling and brakes.
