Being raised as a farm boy I know that a tractor is a handful when going fast. Horsepower is remarkable and the thing was holding together.
I remember a story from a neighbor about going down sand mountain to Fort Payne. Seems that he decided to kick it out of gear at the top and just coast down. At about a quarter way down the grade he was wanting to jump but thought better of it. He came up on a truck part way down and had to left lane the guy. Bet that would be a suprise to be passed by a Ford tractor going 60+ MPH. Finally coasted out to a safe speed without loosing it.
I wonder if he's still alive? That roll cage is merely decorative and tractors are very prone to rolling over as they have no suspension. It makes our cars seem sensible.
It looked to me like his tires had much less liquid in them than a normal tractor application. I think he had some, but not a lot as he was able to stay upright with what appears to be a rather high center of gravity.
That was cool... he's able to plow the field without towing anything!!!
